Great location on a leafy street, just a short walk to the MCG. The room had clean sheets and towels, which made a nice impression. I appreciated the free parking, but it's a tight squeeze. The bathroom had a shower over a small bathtub, which was quite dated but worked well enough. the mattress sagged noticeably, affecting my comfort. Next time, I would hope for a more comfortable bed and updated facilities, especially for the price I paid.

The bed in the steel four-poster frame emitted squeaks with every movement, making sleep a challenge. The sizing of the shower mixed with a bathtub is a design flop that leaves heads a foot above the showerhead—let's just say, it’s not built for those above average height. Bathroom windows felt like a juggling act to close, and outdated decorations set an unfortunate tone. With unreliable Wi-Fi and only one electrical outlet far from the bed, charging while cozy wasn’t an option for tech-savvy travelers.

Convenient stay near the action
Staying here was pretty solid. The location is v close to the city and the train line made getting around super easy. The room was spacious, but the shower could use some work—water pressure wasn't great. Adding a little cafe would’ve been nice too. Oh, and parking was a bit tight for my bike but managed it fine.

Just an ideal choice for a city holiday in Melbourne with very good value for money. Kitchenette was handy for late-night snacks. Check the fridge top to avoid surprises.
